The Ministry of External Affairs reports that the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has announced the complete return to normalcy of air navigation operations, which has resulted in an increase in flight services between the UAE and India.
The Middle Eastern aviation climate has improved to the point where several airlines, such Qatar Airways, IndiGo, Air India Express, and Air India, have either returned to or increased their operations from the area.
While some airspace in Iran and Qatar is only partially available, flights from Oman and Saudi Arabia are running as usual. The airspaces of Kuwait and Bahrain have also been fully restored, allowing for more connectivity to India.
Limited but functioning operations are underway in Iraq and Israel to facilitate onwards travel routes.
The Indian government has issued a travel warning to Indian citizens and urged those already in Iran to leave through land borders. More than 2,600 Indian citizens have been helped out by the Indian Embassy in Tehran in arranging for their safe passage through these channels.
In order to guarantee the security and well-being of Indian people, authorities have stated that they are actively watching regional trends. Additionally, Indian missions run 24-hour helplines and collaborate with local governments.
With the lifting of airspace restrictions, travel and logistics flows between the Gulf area and India are expected to be restored, facilitating trade connectivity and the movement of passengers.
