ONGC Board Approves Appointment of Three Cost Audit Firms for FY 2026-27

The Board of Directors of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has approved the appointment of three cost audit firms for the financial year 2026-27. The decision was formalized during a board meeting held on 17 September 2026, running from 11:35 AM to 1:00 PM IST.

Firms Selected as ONGC Appoints Cost Auditors

To ensure robust compliance and financial oversight, ONGC selected three established accounting firms to conduct its cost audits for the fiscal year:

  • M/s Chandra Wadhwa & Co.
  • M/s Ramanath Iyer & Co.
  • M/s R Nanabhoy & Co.

Regulatory Compliance and SEBI Filings

The state-owned energy major submitted the brief profiles of all three appointed auditing firms to the stock exchanges. This action fulfills statutory disclosure requirements under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The multi-firm audit arrangement strengthens corporate governance while maintaining transparent operational cost accounting across ONGC’s national upstream assets.
