The goal of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, which will take place in New Delhi from March 19–22, is to bring together important stakeholders to talk about sustainable energy alternatives. The event’s theme, “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability,” was highlighted by Union Minister of Power Manohar Lal in his announcement. Creating Global Connections: India’s leadership in the global energy transition will be the main topic of the summit, which will also highlight opportunities and challenges facing the industry.
With over 25,000 guests and 1,000 delegates from across the world, it will include over 50 high-level conference sessions, expert-led panel discussions, and showcases from over 500 exhibitors.
Policymakers, CEOs, and experts will have a forum to debate issues impacting the value chain of electricity from generation to distribution and intelligent use throughout the summit.
One noteworthy element will be a “Buyer Seller Meet” with the goal of encouraging partnerships and expanding commercial prospects in the power supply chain, which will in turn encourage investments in clean electricity.
The conference, according to Minister Manohar Lal, represents India’s dedication to developing electrical systems and signals a change from resolving shortages to managing energy surpluses.
He described the occasion as a crucial chance for innovators and technology suppliers to work together, creating a robust and sustainable future for the electrical industry. In order to develop a complete vision for India’s power landscape, a number of ministries, trade associations, and international officials are working together on the preparations.
