Rajesh Kumar Singh Gets NHPC CVO Charge

Rajesh Kumar Singh has been given additional charge as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of NHPC for six months or until a regular appointment is made.

The Government of India has approved the entrustment of additional charge of the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) post at National Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (NHPC), Delhi.

Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, IRSS (2002), currently serves as CVO of Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Delhi. He will take additional charge of the CVO post at NHPC.

The additional charge will remain effective for six months from the date Singh assumes charge.

The arrangement will also continue until a regular CVO is appointed at NHPC or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) approved the arrangement following a proposal from the Ministry of Power.

Additional Charge for Six Months

The decision has been conveyed through an Office Memorandum issued in October 2026.

Singh will continue to serve as CVO of PFC while holding the additional responsibility at NHPC, subject to the terms of the government order.
