Beginning June 16, 2026, low-cost Indian airline Akasa Air will offer direct flights from Noida International Airport to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai International Airports every day. The announcement was made on Monday. Reservations can be made through the airline’s website, mobile apps (iOS and Android), and major online travel agencies (OTAs), according to the company.
Noida International Airport, one of India’s newest greenfield aviation hubs, is poised to improve regional connectivity, boost economic growth in western Uttar Pradesh and the larger NCR region, and considerably reduce congestion in the Delhi-NCR airspace.
Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, commented on the news, stressing the need to upgrade infrastructure to accommodate the booming Indian aviation industry. He made a point of saying that the airport’s capacity for long-term expansion, multimodal connectivity, and contemporary infrastructure will be very important in changing how people get to the NCR.
The airline boasted that the new routes have promising onwards connection and high demand between origin and destination. Additionally, it intends to add additional domestic and international routes to its network from Noida International Airport in a gradual fashion.
Also on airport property, Akasa Air will set up a cutting-edge MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) center. A variety of aircraft maintenance operations will be able to use the facility, which will guarantee both safety and efficiency.
