Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has secured the 2nd Runner-Up award in the Mid-Cap Companies category, known as the Kalpavriksha Award, at the ICMAI Green Awards 2024–25. The awards were organised by the Sustainability Standards Board of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
The award was presented at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, by Chief Guest CMA Anand Kumar Pal, Chief Advisor (Cost), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
IREDA Receives Recognition for Sustainability
Shri Bharat Singh Rajput, General Manager (Projects), and Smt. Kanchan Bhalla, Additional General Manager (Projects), received the award on behalf of IREDA, along with other team members. The President and Vice President of ICMAI were also present at the ceremony.
Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, congratulated the team on the achievement. He recognised the organisation’s continued focus on sustainability and responsible growth in the renewable energy sector.
The recognition highlights IREDA’s sustainability efforts as it continues to support the renewable energy sector. The Kalpavriksha Award places the organisation among the recognised participants in the Mid-Cap Companies category at the ICMAI Green Awards 2024–25.
