IOCL Order: Desco Infratech Wins ₹3.03 Crore Vizag Gas Works Contract

IOCL Order: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has awarded a ₹3.03 crore project to Desco Infratech Limited for Last Mile Connectivity (LMC), GI installation and Direct Marketing Agency (DMA) works in the Vizag Geographical Area (GA) of Andhra Pradesh.

Desco Infratech received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from IOCL for the project, valued at ₹30,290,271, including GST.

IOCL Order Covers Vizag Gas Infrastructure Works

Under the contract, Desco Infratech will be empanelled as a contractor under the Zonal Rate Contract for LMC, GI installation and DMA works in the Vizag GA.

The execution period will be as specified in the contract. The project will add to Desco Infratech’s portfolio of infrastructure and gas-related works.

Desco Infratech Emerged as L1 Bidder

The IOCL Order follows Desco Infratech’s earlier disclosure dated August 13, 2026, when the company announced that it had emerged as the L1 bidder for the project.

The subsequent LoA confirms the award of the ₹3.03 crore contract by IOCL to Desco Infratech.

IOCL Awards Contract as Domestic Entity

The order has been awarded by IOCL as a domestic entity. Desco Infratech has also clarified that its promoter or promoter group has no interest in IOCL.

The company said the contract strengthens its project portfolio and provides an opportunity to execute infrastructure and gas-related works for one of India’s major public-sector energy companies.

IOCL Order Strengthens Desco Infratech’s Project Portfolio

The ₹3.03 crore IOCL Order adds another project to Desco Infratech’s business portfolio and expands its work in the gas infrastructure segment.

The Vizag project will cover Last Mile Connectivity, GI installation and DMA activities, supporting gas-related infrastructure development in the geographical area.
