BCCL Appoints Anjay Tiwari as Chief Vigilance Officer

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has approved the appointment of Shri Anjay Tiwari, an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer of the 2013 batch, as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Dhanbad, under the Ministry of Coal.

Tiwari will take up the assignment at Pay Level 13, with a pay scale of ₹1,23,100 to ₹2,15,900. His initial tenure will be three years, subject to the terms specified in the appointment order.

Anjay Tiwari’s Appointment to Take Effect from January 2027

The appointment will take effect from the date Tiwari assumes charge on or after January 1, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

As part of the process, the Railway Board has been requested to relieve Tiwari so that he can take up his new responsibility at BCCL. The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has also been informed of the appointment.

Tiwari to Serve as Chief Vigilance Officer at BCCL

In his new role, Tiwari will serve as Chief Vigilance Officer at BCCL, a public sector coal company headquartered in Dhanbad. The appointment places him in a vigilance role within the organisation under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Coal.

The DoPT approval sets out the tenure, pay level and effective-date conditions for the appointment. Tiwari’s assumption of charge will follow the completion of the required relieving and joining formalities.
