UP RERA Projects Approved Across Five UP Districts

UP RERA projects have received a major boost this month. The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 10 new UP RERA projects across five districts. The move signals continued momentum in the state’s real estate sector.

The approved projects carry an estimated investment of ₹1,412.55 crore. Together, they will create 1,632 residential and commercial units across the state.

UP RERA granted the approvals at its 207th meeting. UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy chaired the session.

Ghaziabad Leads UP RERA Projects in Investment

Ghaziabad recorded the highest investment among the five districts. The district secured two projects — one residential and one commercial. Together, they carry an estimated investment of around ₹957.20 crore.

These two developments will comprise 625 residential and commercial units. This makes Ghaziabad the top investment destination in this approval round.

Gautam Buddh Nagar Tops in Number of Units

Gautam Buddh Nagar received approval for three commercial projects. The developments carry a combined investment of ₹281.64 crore.

These projects will develop 680 commercial units. This gives Gautam Buddh Nagar the highest unit count among all five districts.

Lucknow and Smaller Districts See Steady Growth

Lucknow received approval for three projects. Two are residential and one is commercial. Together, they carry an estimated investment of ₹26.57 crore and will add 215 units to the city.

Smaller districts also gained approvals. UP RERA cleared one mixed-use project in Gorakhpur, worth ₹144.09 crore, that will add 69 units. Moradabad secured one residential project worth around ₹3.05 crore, adding 43 housing units.

UP RERA Projects Set to Drive Urban Development

The authority expects these approved projects to support planned urban development. It also anticipates a rise in construction activity across the five districts.

The developments will generate employment opportunities. They will also boost demand for construction materials, transport services and engineering support — creating ripple effects across allied industries.

Bhoosreddy said UP RERA will continue to focus on transparency, accountability and time-bound project development. He added that the authority will ensure compliance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act. This, he said, will protect homebuyers while promoting balanced growth across Uttar Pradesh’s real estate sector.
