RailTel Bags ₹100 Crore IT Monitoring Project for Konkan Railway Division

The creation and maintenance of an integrated IT solution targeted at monitoring minor minerals has been awarded to RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. by the Konkan Division, a significant Letter of Intent (LoI).

The Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division, has granted RailTel an order for ₹100 crore (not including taxes), which is a major achievement for the company in the realm of government digital infrastructure and e-governance. As stated in the contract, RailTel will be acting as the project’s System Integrator. Through the use of cutting-edge digital infrastructure, the program seeks to improve oversight, openness, and conformity across the minor minerals industry.

The growing role of RailTel in digital transformation and government technology projects is demonstrated by this domestic order. With this project under its belt, the firm has proven over and again that it can provide government agencies with comprehensive IT solutions.

The business has verified that there are no related-party transactions in this contract and that the promoter group is not involved in any way with the body that grants awards. This victory further solidifies RailTel’s position as a crucial technology partner for government agencies, as the company expands its offerings beyond telecom and railway infrastructure to include e-governance, digital services, and smart monitoring systems.

Regulatory filings made by the corporation indicate that the order was received on April 15, 2026.
