Three new Amrit Bharat Express trains and a passenger train service for Kerala from Thiruvananthapuram were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The goal of this project is to improve interstate connectivity and modernise train travel. Along with a passenger service between Thrissur and Guruvayur, the additional routes include Nagercoil-Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram-Tambaram, and Thiruvananthapuram-Charlapalli.
These Southern Railway-run trains are intended to improve travel between important cities in Tamil Nadu and Kerala by offering greater amenities, safety features, and affordability to everyday travellers.
The roomy coaches and contemporary amenities, such as CCTV cameras and charging stations, have been praised by passengers for enhancing their overall travel experience.
