OIL and TotalEnergies Partner in Deepwater Exploration to Boost India’s Offshore Energy Potential

Oil India Limited (OIL) and TotalEnergies signed a Technology Service Agreement on November 19, 2025, in New Delhi, aimed at enhancing strategic collaboration for exploration in Deep and Ultra-deepwater Offshore areas of Indian sedimentary Basins.

The agreement facilitates the application of TotalEnergies’ expertise in Deep & Ultra-deepwater exploration for OIL’s offshore portfolio, including appraisal of gas finds and exploration in specific Blocks.

This collaboration is a key step in OIL’s efforts to identify hydrocarbon resources and contribute to India’s sustainable energy future.
