NTPC Limited Recognises K.M. Prashanth and J.P. Sharma with Prestigious IPSE Awards

The “IPSE Doyen of the Decade (Public Sector)” award was bestowed upon K M Prashanth, a former General Manager (Corporate Communications) of NTPC Limited, in recognition of his exceptional achievements in the fields of public relations and corporate communications within the power and renewable energy industries.

At the SCOPE Convention Centre on April 30, 2026, with Sandeep Gupta and A K Singh in attendance, the accolade was presented by Anil Razdan.

Prashanth has been an integral part of NTPC’s growth and public involvement for over 30 years, during which time he has helped shape corporate communication strategies, human resource departments, and corporate affairs.

Present at the same occasion was the IPSE Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence, bestowed upon J P Sharma in recognition of his distinguished career in corporate communications.

In recognition of the vital role that public sector firms play in propelling economic growth and national development, PSE Journal and the Enertia Foundation established the IPSE Awards to honour outstanding performance in this sector.
