Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has entrusted Neeti Sarkar (IRAS) with the additional charge of Director (Finance) on the company’s Board.
Sarkar is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Finance) at RVNL. She will hold the additional charge alongside her existing responsibilities.
RVNL Appoints Neeti Sarkar as Director Finance
According to a Ministry of Railways order dated September 29, 2026, Neeti Sarkar, an officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), will take on the additional charge of Director (Finance) at RVNL.
The arrangement will take effect from the date she assumes charge and will continue until further orders.
The additional charge is subject to approval of the competent authority.
Neeti Sarkar to Continue Existing Responsibilities
Sarkar will hold the additional responsibility of Director (Finance), RVNL, while continuing in her existing role as Principal Executive Director (Finance).
Her appointment adds the Director (Finance) responsibility to her current portfolio within the organisation.
RVNL Board Finance Role
The Director (Finance) is a key position on the RVNL Board, covering the company’s finance-related functions.
Neeti Sarkar’s additional charge will remain in effect until further orders, as specified in the Ministry of Railways order.
