Ramasamy G V was previously serving as Senior Deputy General Manager at Karur Vysya Bank.
With his elevation, he will take responsibility for the bank’s finance function as Chief Financial Officer. His appointment marks a change in the bank’s senior management structure.
The appointment is effective from September 1, 2026, as disclosed by the bank to the stock exchanges.
Previous Karur Vysya Bank CFO Moves to COO Role
The bank’s previous CFO, Ramshankar R, has been promoted to the position of Chief General Manager.
He is currently transitioning into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
The management changes follow the bank’s earlier communication dated June 23, 2026, regarding changes in its Senior Management Personnel.
The transition will shift Ramshankar R from the finance function to an operational leadership role within the bank.

Karur Vysya Bank disclosed the senior management changes to the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
