Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced the appointment of Raj Kumar Verma as Group General Manager, effective October 15, 2026, as part of a senior management change.
In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, IRCTC confirmed that Verma has joined its Corporate Office in New Delhi in a senior management position, one level below the company’s Board of Directors.
Before his appointment, Verma served as Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer (O&F), Agra, North Central Railway.
A 2008-batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME), Verma brings approximately 18 years of professional experience with Indian Railways.
His appointment adds to IRCTC’s senior leadership team, bringing extensive experience in railway engineering and administration to the organisation.
The company formally communicated the development to the National Stock Exchange (NSE: IRCTC) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 542830) in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements.
