Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the 32nd Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in Maharajpur, Kanpur. Under this strategic agreement, the company will deliver a reliable IGL PNG connection network directly to 154 staff quarters within the battalion campus.
Expanding Domestic Gas Access for Defense Personnel
The agreement focuses on delivering Domestic Piped Natural Gas (DPNG) to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient fuel access for paramilitary families. This partnership reinforces IGL’s commitment to modernizing household fuel distribution across key institutional premises in northern India.
Strategic Expansion of the IGL PNG Connection Network
The collaboration marks another milestone in expanding the company’s city gas distribution network across the Kanpur Geographical Area. IGL aims to enhance everyday convenience for national security personnel while replacing traditional cylinder-based supplies with clean pipeline energy.
