Hettich Enhances Customer Experience with New Kochi Design Centre

Hettich has inaugurated its newly revamped Experience Centre in Kochi, strengthening its retail and customer engagement strategy in India. The upgraded facility has been designed to offer homeowners, architects and interior designers an immersive space to explore the company’s latest furniture fittings, architectural hardware and home solutions.

The revamped centre showcases Hettich’s portfolio of German engineered products, including furniture fittings, architectural door hardware, furniture lighting and built in kitchen appliances. Designed as an interactive experience hub, the facility enables visitors to better visualise interior solutions while exploring design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.

In addition to product displays, the Kochi Experience Centre offers complimentary design consultation services and doorstep consultations. These services are intended to provide customers with personalised recommendations and expert guidance tailored to their individual design requirements.

Speaking at the launch, Andre Eckholt, Managing Director for Hettich India, SAARC, Middle East and Africa, said Kochi’s growing focus on design and architecture makes it an important market for the company. He added that the upgraded experience centre reflects Hettich’s strategy of creating immersive customer touchpoints that combine functionality, aesthetics and German engineering to enhance modern living spaces.

The Experience Centre has also been relocated to a new facility at Thomas Plaza on NH Bypass Road in Edappally, Kochi, making it more accessible to customers across the region.

Founded 138 years ago, Hettich is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of furniture fittings, with a presence in more than 100 countries. The company has operated in India for 25 years and has established a strong position in the furniture fittings market through its portfolio of hardware solutions, built in appliances, furniture lighting and architectural products.

As part of its India growth strategy, Hettich continues to invest in customer experience centres that allow architects, designers and homeowners to interact with its products before making purchase decisions. The Kochi facility is expected to strengthen the company’s presence in southern India while supporting the growing demand for premium interior design and home improvement solutions.
