Digital Life Certificate (DLC) campaign 4.0 aims to reach 2 crore pensioners across over 2,000 cities in India, focusing on digital empowerment and convenience.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will participate in the SBI Mega Camp, which showcases face authentication technology for submitting Life Certificates without biometric devices.
The campaign is designed to include super senior and differently-abled pensioners via doorstep services. It involves collaboration among key stakeholders like banks, UIDAI, and pensioners’ associations to enhance digital inclusion and improve the pension process for senior citizens, as emphasized by Prime Minister Modi.
The NIC DLC Portal will facilitate real-time monitoring of DLC generation. Overall, the campaign significantly reforms the pension disbursal system by eliminating outdated regulations.
