With a net worth of $89.2 billion, Adani surpassed Mukesh Ambani and Masayoshi Son in Forbes’ real-time billionaire rankings. The growth in Gautam Adani’s wealth is mostly attributable to the solid performance of the Adani Group enterprises in 2026.

According to reports, Adani’s fortune has grown by almost $10 billion after the US Department of Justice dropped allegations of fraud against the Adani Group last month.

Claiming involvement in a $250 million bribery conspiracy connected to contracts for solar energy delivery, the group was the subject of the claims. The subsequent surge in the value of the group’s listed companies was aided by the dismissal of these allegations, which improved market sentiment toward the group.
