In New Delhi, Narendra Modi and To Lam had extensive talks to strengthen bilateral ties and broaden cooperation across industries as the two nations celebrate ten years of their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
After receiving a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Vietnamese leader met with delegations in Hyderabad House to discuss upcoming events. In addition, he visited Raj Ghat to pay his respects to Mahatma Gandhi.
Droupadi Murmu and other high-ranking officials will meet with the president of Vietnam during their visit. Prior to this, To Lam and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met to discuss enhancing strategic collaboration.
Both countries are hoping to strengthen cooperation in areas including commerce, security, and regional participation, and this visit highlights the growing diplomatic momentum between them.
Lam also paid a visit to Bihar’s Mahabodhi Temple, further demonstrating the interconnectedness of different civilisations. As part of his agenda, he will be visiting the National Stock Exchange and meeting with business executives in Mumbai.
The two nations have been in a strategic alliance for ten years, and this visit is supposed to give it new life by strengthening existing ties and launching new ones.
