RailTel Corporation of India Lands ₹43.96 Crore Deal with UP Police Recruitment Board

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued a sizable work order to RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., requiring the company to supply auxiliary services connected to security during a massive recruitment test. The company’s regulatory filing states that a domestic government entity has granted the contract, which will involve providing auxiliary services relating to security to support the board’s recruiting examinations.

Specifically, the order for government services and digital infrastructure support will help RailTel solidify its position in that market. Beyond its conventional telecom and railway network offerings, RailTel is increasingly playing an important role in offering technology-enabled and operational support services, as demonstrated by this initiative.

This new development further proves that RailTel can get lucrative contracts from the government and increase their income by forming partnerships with other public sector organisations.
