Ayodhya Set for Major Sports Boost as UP Govt Approves Land for Complex

The Chief Minister Vaishwik Nagarodaya Yojana, which seeks to improve urban infrastructure and encourage sports among young people, has received approval from the Uttar Pradesh government to transfer land for the construction of a sports centre in Ayodhya.

An official statement from the state administration stated that the decision was made after a cabinet meeting headed by Yogi Adityanath. The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation will receive approximately 2,500 square meters of Nazul land in the Vashishtha Kund area of Ayodhya as per the accepted proposal.

Although the land will be given away for free, there are some restrictions and conditions that the government has put on its use. Residents can anticipate improved sporting infrastructure and increased youth involvement in athletic events as a result of the facility. The Ayodhya District Magistrate, acting on a request from the Municipal Commissioner, put forward a proposal that eventually became the initiative. In order to facilitate community growth and youth engagement, the proposal emphasised the necessity of increasing the city’s sports infrastructure. The decision to transfer property without cost requires special permission, according to officials. They also stressed that this decision should not be seen as a precedent for future land allocations of a similar kind.

As well as opening up new possibilities for athletic events in the area, the forthcoming sports facility is anticipated to aid in the improvement of Ayodhya’s civic infrastructure.
