U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will speak about the dangers of AI and push for more inclusive AI at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
Instead of letting a small number of countries or corporations dictate policy, he would stress the importance of a wide range of opinions.
A total of twenty heads of state, including Pedro Sánchez and Emmanuel Macron, will be present at the meeting. Since advances in AI will have far-reaching consequences for many countries that would otherwise go unnoticed, Guterres wants everyone to play a part in shaping its future.
He will also meet with other Indian leaders, such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while in Delhi.
