At the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, Pralhad Joshi, India’s Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, underlined the nation’s dedication to the clean energy transition.
He emphasised how India’s steady policies, international alliances, and long-term investments have reassured stakeholders around the world about India’s progress towards renewable energy.
Discussions at Davos reinforced India’s ability to adopt clean energy on a large scale by showcasing its achievements and iconic projects like PM-Surya Ghar and PM-KUSUM. Positive comments regarding India’s capacity to produce solar photovoltaics and its expanding export potential for green hydrogen were observed by Joshi.
He also talked on the shift to platform-based solutions for cutting-edge technology and how artificial intelligence may improve the efficiency of the energy sector.
