NTPC Bongaigaon Marks NTPC’s Golden Jubilee on 51st Raising Day

NTPC Bongaigaon celebrated its 51st Raising Day and Golden Jubilee with enthusiasm, bringing together employees, families, and the community.

The event included flag hoisting by Arnab Maitra, cake cutting, and the release of balloons. In his address, Maitra highlighted NTPC’s journey since 1975, its current capacity of over 84 GW, and its contribution of 750 MW to the North-Eastern region, emphasizing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and environmental conservation.

The celebration honored six employees with Power Excel Awards and recognized four Master Trainers from the Rastriya KarmYogi Training Programme.

A rendition of “Vande Mataram” celebrated its 150th anniversary, while a Walkathon and plantation drive reinforced NTPC’s commitment to community and sustainability. Established on November 7, 1975, NTPC aims to reach 150 GW capacity by 2032, showcasing its dedication to a greener, energy-secure India.
