HURL Apna Samvaad Highlights Drone Didis’ Success in Agriculture

HURL Apna Samvaad brought together Drone Didis from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar to discuss drone technology, agricultural services and rural entrepreneurship.

Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) organised HURL Apna Samvaad at its Gorakhpur Plant. The programme brought together Lakhpati Drone Didis from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

The interaction focused on their experiences, achievements and challenges in using drone technology for agriculture. It also highlighted the growing role of women entrepreneurs in technology-enabled agricultural services.

HURL Apna Samvaad Promotes Peer Learning

The HURL Apna Samvaad programme provided a platform for Drone Didis to share their journeys and success stories. They also discussed challenges in adopting and using drones for agricultural applications.

Drone Didis from different locations across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar joined the programme virtually. They shared their field experiences and highlighted the opportunities created by drone-based agricultural services.

The interaction showed how drone technology can support rural livelihoods, women entrepreneurship and agricultural development.

HURL Supports Drone Didis Through Knowledge Sharing

Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, Managing Director, HURL, led the interaction. He heard the experiences and success stories of the participating Drone Didis.

Dr. Mohanty discussed the opportunities and challenges emerging from their work. He encouraged the women entrepreneurs to continue their journey with confidence.

He also stressed the importance of mutual support, knowledge sharing and peer learning. He urged Drone Didis to guide and support their peers and share their experiences.

Dr. Mohanty said collective learning can help address common challenges. It can also strengthen the entrepreneurial activities of Drone Didis.

He assured the participants of continued support from HURL.

HURL Recognises Top-Performing Drone Didis

The HURL Apna Samvaad also featured an award ceremony. HURL recognised the three highest-performing Drone Didis for their achievements and contributions.

The awards recognised their efforts to deliver technology-enabled agricultural services at the grassroots level.

Drone Technology Creates Rural Business Opportunities

The initiative highlights the growing role of women as technology-enabled rural entrepreneurs. It also shows how modern agricultural technology can create new livelihood and business opportunities.

Drone-based services are helping women participate more actively in the agricultural ecosystem. The initiative also demonstrates the potential of technology to support rural enterprise development.

Through HURL Apna Samvaad, HURL has provided a platform for these entrepreneurs to exchange experiences, build peer networks and strengthen their role in technology-led agriculture.
