NCL Udaan Scheme: Free JEE and NEET Coaching Launched for Local Students in Singrauli

Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has taken a major step toward youth empowerment in the Singrauli region. The public sector enterprise signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with two premier coaching institutes, Sri Chaitanya Academy and SSG EQ LLP. This strategic partnership launches the NCL Udaan Scheme, an initiative designed to provide high-quality JEE and NEET coaching to local aspirants.

Under this welfare project, expert faculty will conduct after-school coaching sessions at NCL DAV schools in Dudhichua and Khadia. The initiative aims to bridge the educational gap for students in remote areas by offering metro-standard exam preparation at their doorstep.

Key Features of the NCL Udaan Scheme

  • Inclusive Access: The program caters to children of NCL employees as well as students from the surrounding local community.
  • On-Campus Convenience: Special classes will run right after regular school hours within NCL DAV school premises.
  • Cost and Time Efficiency: Students receive top-tier entrance exam preparation at affordable fees, eliminating the need to relocate to distant coaching hubs.

Strategic Impact of the NCL Udaan Scheme

The project aims to level the playing field for meritorious students in the Singrauli region. By offering specialized guidance locally, NCL reduces the financial and logistical burden on families while helping young talents prepare effectively for national engineering and medical entrance tests.

Official Leadership Presence

The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of key executives:

  • Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Chairman and Managing Director, NCL
  • Shri Manish Kumar, Director (Human Resources)
  • Shri Ashutosh Dwivedi, Director (Technical)

Shri Rajesh Trivedi, General Manager (HR/Welfare), formally executed the agreements on behalf of NCL, alongside representatives from the partner coaching centers and trade union leaders.
