Suzlon 200 MW Wind Order: Company Wins Maiden Deal from Ayana Renewable Power

Suzlon 200 MW wind order from Ayana Renewable Power marks the company’s maiden wind energy order from the renewable power developer. The project will be developed at Limbawas in Madhya Pradesh and will use Suzlon’s flagship S144 wind turbine platform.

The order will further strengthen Suzlon’s presence in India’s growing wind energy market. It also takes the S144 platform beyond 10 GW in cumulative sales.

Suzlon 200 MW Wind Order Covers 64 S144 Turbines

The project has a total capacity of 200 MW and will deploy 64 units of Suzlon’s S144 turbine, with each turbine having a capacity of 3.15 MW.

The wind project will be located at Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh. It will connect to the MPPCL state grid.

Suzlon will execute the project under a full EPC scope. The scope includes turbine supply, land acquisition, balance of plant, pooling substation, EHV transmission line and commissioning.

The company will also provide operations and maintenance services for the project.

Ayana Renewable Power Expands into Madhya Pradesh

The order marks Ayana Renewable Power’s entry into wind power generation in Madhya Pradesh.

Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman and Co-Founder, Suzlon Group, said the partnership will strengthen Ayana’s wind portfolio as it expands in the state.

He also highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s strong potential for wind energy development.

Suzlon Highlights End-to-End Project Capabilities

Ajay Kapur, CEO, Suzlon Group, said the company’s end-to-end capabilities helped secure the project.

He noted that Suzlon has secured four wind orders across two states within a short period. The latest order further strengthens the company’s project pipeline in India’s renewable energy sector.

S144 Platform Crosses 10 GW Sales Milestone

The new project also marks an important milestone for Suzlon’s S144 platform.

With the latest order, the S144 platform has crossed 10 GW in cumulative sales. The milestone reinforces the platform’s position in Suzlon’s wind turbine portfolio.

The development also reflects growing demand for large-scale wind power projects in India.

Suzlon to Execute Full EPC Scope

Lakshmi Narayanan B, Head – Business Development, Ayana Renewable Power, said Suzlon’s proven technology and integrated project delivery capabilities made it the preferred partner.

The project will combine turbine supply with complete EPC execution. This includes the supporting infrastructure required to connect the wind project to the state grid.

Suzlon has informed the BSE and NSE about the order.

The 200 MW project adds to Suzlon’s growing order pipeline and supports the expansion of wind power capacity in India.
