Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has secured a ₹117.99 crore order from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. (MSETCL) for an AI-based security project. The Mazagon Dock order covers the supply, installation and commissioning of an AI-based Comprehensive Infrasecure Project across five substations.
The order is valued at ₹117,99,71,564.90, including 18% GST and other applicable duties. The project has a completion period of 24 months.
Mazagon Dock to Implement AI Security System
Under the project, Mazagon Dock will supply, install and commission the AI-based Comprehensive Infrasecure system at five MSETCL substations.
The project will use AI-based technology to strengthen security infrastructure at the substations. It forms part of MSETCL’s efforts to enhance security across its power transmission network.
Mazagon Dock Order is a Domestic Contract
The order is a domestic contract awarded by a domestic entity. Mazagon Dock has confirmed that the promoter and promoter group have no interest in the awarding entity.
The company has also stated that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
