Federal Bank Shares have been allotted to employees following the exercise of stock options under the bank’s employee stock option schemes. Federal Bank Limited allotted a total of 1,43,887 equity shares on August 30, 2026, after eligible employees paid the required amount.
Federal Bank Shares Allotted Under Three Schemes
The Federal Bank Shares allotment was approved by the Nomination, Remuneration, Ethics and Compensation Committee. The allotment covers three employee stock option schemes operated by the bank.
Under the ESOS 2010 Scheme, the bank allotted 17,264 equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each. Another 1,23,653 equity shares were allotted under the ESOS 2017 Scheme.
The bank also allotted 2,970 equity shares under the ESIS 2023 Scheme. All shares carry a face value of ₹2 each.
Federal Bank Shares Allotment Totals 1,43,887
The total Federal Bank Shares allotted under the three schemes stood at 1,43,887. The ESOS 2017 Scheme accounted for the largest portion of the allotment, followed by the ESOS 2010 Scheme and the ESIS 2023 Scheme.
The allotment follows the exercise of stock options by eligible employees. The shares were issued after the employees made the required payment.
Bank Informs Stock Exchanges
Federal Bank has informed the stock exchanges about the allotment for their information and records. The disclosure covers the shares issued under ESOS 2010, ESOS 2017 and ESIS 2023.
The employee stock option allotment forms part of the bank’s existing employee compensation framework. The latest issue increases the number of equity shares held by eligible employees under the respective schemes.
