The company completed the allotment after employees exercised stock options under its various Employee Stock Option Schemes (ESOPs). The Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee approved the allotment.

The latest HDFC Life ESOP allotment covers 1,14,000 equity shares with a face value of ₹10 each. The shares were allotted to eligible employee stock option holders following the exercise of their stock options. After the allotment, HDFC Life’s paid-up equity share capital stands at ₹2,172.59 crore, while the company’s total equity shares stand at 217.26 crore.

The allotment increases HDFC Life’s outstanding equity shares. It forms part of the company’s ongoing employee stock option programme.
