HP Khadi Sales increased 39% year-on-year to Rs 54.84 crore in FY26. The Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board recorded sales of Rs 54.84 crore in 2025-26, up from Rs 39.19 crore in the previous fiscal year. The Board now aims to double sales in FY27.
HP Khadi Sales Growth Supports FY27 Target
The Himachal Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board reported strong sales growth during FY26. Sales of khadi and other local products reached Rs 54.84 crore.
The figure was Rs 39.19 crore in FY25. This represents a 39% year-on-year increase.
The performance was reviewed during the annual meeting of the Board of Directors.
Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan chaired the meeting and appreciated the Board’s sales performance.
HP Khadi Sales Target Set at Rs 112 Crore
The Board has set a sales target of Rs 112 crore for FY27. The target covers marketing and commercial activities.
The Board has already achieved Rs 19.71 crore in sales by July 2026. It plans to accelerate sales during the remaining months of the financial year.
Board Focuses on Asset and Staff Efficiency
Chauhan directed officials to rationalise staff according to actual functional requirements.
The move aims to improve the use of human resources. It is also expected to strengthen administrative and operational efficiency.
The Board has also approved the rental of vacant buildings and sales centres at the Kangra complex.
Wool carding centres at Udaipur, Holi and Pooh will also be rented out. The move is expected to generate additional revenue and improve asset utilisation.
HP Khadi Sales to Drive Local Products
The Board’s sales growth highlights the rising commercial activity around khadi and other local products.
The focus will now be on increasing sales, improving asset utilisation and strengthening commercial operations.
With its Rs 112 crore target, the Board aims to build on HP Khadi Sales growth recorded in FY26 and expand its marketing activities in FY27.
