UCO Bank’s Board of Directors has approved UCO Bank Foreign Currency Fund Raising of up to USD 1 billion. The bank will raise the funds through debt instruments under its Medium Term Note (MTN) Programme.
UCO Bank Foreign Currency Fund Raising Plan
The Board approved the proposal at its meeting held on August 24, 2026. The meeting started at 2:45 p.m. and ended at 4:50 p.m.
Under the UCO Bank Foreign Currency Fund Raising plan, the bank will issue debt instruments in one or more tranches. The fund raising will take place under the bank’s MTN Programme.
The bank will decide the timing and size of each tranche based on its funding needs and market conditions.
UCO Bank Approves USD 1 Billion Fund Raising
UCO Bank’s Board has approved a maximum fund raising limit of USD 1 billion. The proposed issue will allow the bank to access foreign currency funds through debt instruments.
The bank can raise the approved amount in stages. This gives UCO Bank flexibility to access funds based on its requirements and market conditions.
Regulatory Disclosure
The decision follows the bank’s earlier intimation to the stock exchanges on August 19, 2026.
UCO Bank disclosed the latest Board approval under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations. The approval covers the proposed issue of debt instruments under the MTN Programme.
