USD 1 Billion EMTN Programme Set Up by Bank of India

Bank of India has established a USD 1 billion EMTN Programme to provide flexibility for raising funds through notes in international markets.

Bank of India has established a USD 1 billion EMTN Programme to support its future fundraising requirements in international markets.

The public sector lender informed the stock exchanges about the development on September 28, 2026, under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations.

The offering circular for the programme has been submitted to NSE IFSC Limited and India International Exchange (IFSC) Limited.

USD 1 Billion EMTN Programme to Support International Fundraising

The USD 1 billion EMTN Programme will give Bank of India flexibility to raise funds through the issuance of notes in international markets.

The bank can use the programme to access international funding as and when required.

The programme provides a framework for potential note issuances based on the bank’s funding requirements and market conditions.

Bank of India Files EMTN Offering Circular

Bank of India has submitted the offering circular to NSE IFSC and India International Exchange (IFSC).

The offering circular is available on the respective websites of the two exchanges.

The bank has also uploaded the intimation regarding the USD 1 billion EMTN Programme on its website.

Bank of India Strengthens Funding Flexibility

The establishment of the programme provides Bank of India with an additional avenue for raising funds from international markets.

The disclosure was issued by Usha Ramsinghani, Company Secretary, under the applicable SEBI disclosure requirements.

The USD 1 billion EMTN Programme establishes a framework that can support the bank’s international fundraising activities as required.
