US Facilitates Travel For Foreign Spectators With FIFA Pass

In advance of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the United States has introduced FIFA PASS, a fast-track visa scheme, to facilitate travel for millions of foreign spectators.

In an effort to expedite consular processing while upholding stringent immigration and security regulations, the US State Department will begin providing priority visa interview appointments to confirmed World Cup ticket holders on January 20.

The administration has cut visa wait times to less than 60 days in more than 80% of nations and is deploying more than 500 consular officials worldwide to handle the anticipated spike in applications.

The United States, Canada, and Mexico will jointly host the 48-team FIFA World Cup 2026, which will start on June 11 and feature 78 matches spread across 11 US locations, including the championship game at New York–New Jersey Stadium.
