Sagar Singh Kalsi Director Ministry of Power Appointment Approved by ACC

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has named Shri Sagar Singh Kalsi, IPS (AGMUT: 2010), as Director in the Ministry of Power. He transfers on a lateral basis from his previous post as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

The Central Staffing Scheme governs his deputation tenure through 23 February 2030, or until further orders. Key deployment parameters include:

IAS Officer Repatriated to Home Cadre

Separately, the Competent Authority approved the premature repatriation of Shri V. Jaya Chandra Bhanu Reddy, IAS (TN: 2011). He previously served as Director in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying.

The government approved his return to his parent cadre on personal grounds under an “extended cooling off” provision. Official orders direct the department to relieve Shri Reddy immediately to rejoin his state cadre.
