The 21st Annual Day of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of India’s Ministry of Railways, was held at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on April 10, 2026. This event marked another important milestone in RVNL’s history of improving India’s infrastructure. Greetings and best wishes to the entire RVNL team on the occasion of their 21st Annual Day. Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology; Ravneet Singh, Minister of State for Railways & Food Processing Industries; and V. Somanna, Minister of State for Railways & Jal Shakti, conveyed their deepest congratulations on the occasion and praised the RVNL’s noteworthy performance and ongoing contribution to bolstering the nation’s infrastructure.
Attended by Shri Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO of the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta, Member of the Railway Board (Infrastructure), R. Rajagopal, Member of the Railway Board (Traction & Rolling Stock), and Manjusha Jain, Member of the Railway Board (Finance), the event was further enhanced by their presence. At the ceremony, Saleem Ahmad, CMD of RVNL, gave a special address. Shri M.P. Singh, Director of Operations, gave a welcoming speech. Anupam Ban, Director of Personnel, gave a vote of appreciation. The speakers highlighted RVNL’s accomplishments, team excellence, and vision for ongoing growth. Distinguished guests and retired officers of RVNL were also present, along with other senior officials such as Amit Tandon, Director (Projects), Abhishek Kumar, Director (Finance), and Mukesh Kumar, Chief Vigilance Officer.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Railway Board, Satish Kumar, spoke highly of RVNL in his speech, praising the company’s dedication and competence in completing projects that seemed insurmountable at the time. He emphasised RVNL’s capacity to turn difficult deadlines into good outcomes, drawing on his experience of closely monitoring vital infrastructure targets; this strengthened the trust that Indian Railways has in the organization. He said that the entire railway ecosystem may be proud of RVNL’s progress since 2003 and that in under twenty years it has become an essential part of India’s rail and other infrastructure.
