According to Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, India Energy Week focused on the idea of “energy addition” rather than “replacement” in the global energy transition.
He underlined the significance of consistent investment in a variety of energy sources, such as petrol, oil, biofuels, and clean cooking fuels, while Goa offered a plan for reaching 100% renewable energy by 2050.
Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber of the United Arab Emirates emphasised the need for balanced investment across all energy sectors and noted that underinvestment poses a serious risk to the global energy system.
Canada expressed interest in strengthening cooperation with India in LNG and energy commerce, and the event built international partnerships to control energy volatility by facilitating discussions among policymakers and industry leaders on practical solutions.
