He highlighted that India possesses approximately one crore manuscripts, representing a vast cultural heritage.
The Prime Minister stated that India’s knowledge tradition is built on preservation, innovation, addition, and adaptation. He noted that digitized manuscripts will contribute to the global cultural and creative industry and serve as a data bank for data-driven innovation, creating new opportunities for youth in tech and academic research.
PM Modi also stressed the importance of using advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence to analyze and present the knowledge within these manuscripts. He urged the youth and institutions to participate in the mission, viewing it as an extension of the Swadeshi and Atmanirbhar Bharat spirit to transform heritage into a symbol of strength.
