PM Modi to Launch Major Youth Development Initiatives Worth ₹62,000 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch youth-focused initiatives worth over Rs 62,000 crore on October 3, aiming to enhance education, skilling, and entrepreneurship.

The event will include the Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh, recognizing top Industrial Training Institute (ITI) students. A major initiative is PM-SETU, a Rs 60,000 crore scheme to upgrade 1,000 Government ITIs, making them industry-managed and equipped with modern resources.

Additionally, 1,200 Vocational Skill Labs will be established in schools across India, focusing on practical training in high-demand sectors. Special projects for Bihar include the revamped Mukhyamantri Nishchay Svyam Sahayata Bhatta Yojana, providing financial support to graduates, and the redesigned Bihar Student Credit Card Scheme for interest-free education loans.

The Bihar Yuva Ayog will be inaugurated to empower young people, along with the Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur Skill University.

Modi will also enhance academic facilities in four universities, establishing modern learning environments for 27,000 students, and will distribute appointment letters to 4,000 new government recruits while allocating Rs 450 crore in scholarships to students.
