Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Skyroot’s Infinity Campus and unveiled its first orbital rocket, Vikram-I, emphasizing the private sector’s significant role in India’s space ecosystem.
During the event, he noted the transformation of India’s space capabilities, from limited resources to a strong global presence in space technology.
Modi highlighted the availability of expert engineers, manufacturing ecosystems, and innovation-driven mindsets as key strengths. He pointed out that reforms over the past decade have opened the sector for private innovation, making it attractive to global investors.
