NTPC Tanda’s Healthcare Milestone: Transforming Lives Through Free Cataract Surgeries

Free eye care services for economically underprivileged sections in neighbouring villages were provided when NTPC Tanda inaugurated a Mega Eye Screening and Cataract Surgery Camp as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Held at Mahamaya Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College, Ambedkarnagar, the camp provides free eye screenings, early diagnoses, and preparations for high-quality cataract procedures from 25th to 27th February 2026.

Through this initiative, NTPC Tanda aims to:

·         Provide early diagnosis of vision-related issues among underserved populations.

·         Conduct safe and high-quality cataract surgeries for those in need.

·         Improve the overall quality of life for residents in nearby villages.

·         Strengthen relationships with local communities while promoting inclusive growth.

By hosting this camp, NTPC continues its tradition of providing healthcare and community development services, with a focus on reducing the prevalence of avoidable blindness and other visual impairments that impact low-income communities.
