NTPC Applauds Sheetal Devi for Her Landmark Achievement

Sheetal Devi has made history as India’s first individual Para Archery World Champion by winning a gold medal in the Compound Women’s Individual category at the World Archery Para Championships 2025 in Gwangju, South Korea.

This achievement not only highlights her remarkable talent and determination but also serves as inspiration for many globally.

NTPC, associated with the Archery Association of India since 2018, congratulated her and announced a renewed financial support of ₹2,420 lakh over the next four years to promote archery in India.

NTPC’s ongoing commitment to sporting excellence aims to empower youth and enhance India’s presence in global sports while also contributing significantly to the country’s power needs and renewable energy goals.
