NLC India Limited conducted a capacity-building programme on Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) at the NLC Talabira Thermal Power Project (NTTPP) in Odisha on 15 October 2026. The initiative formed part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 and focused on employee benefits, social security provisions and compliance responsibilities.

The session aimed to improve participants’ understanding of ESI responsibilities and the benefits available under the scheme. It also covered relevant provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020, and key aspects of the new Labour Codes.
The programme highlighted the importance of understanding statutory obligations and applying social security provisions effectively in the workplace.
Promoting Compliance and Employee Welfare
The initiative emphasised greater awareness of social security measures, responsible compliance and informed workplace practices.
