Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLC India Limited Navratna Starus under Ministry of Coal has been honoured with the M. S. Swaminathan Green Excellence Award at the M. S. Swaminathan Birth Centenary Celebrations held on 5 December 2025 in Hyderabad.
The award, presented during the International Conference on Green Technologies, Power, and Future (ICGTPF) 4.0, recognises his leadership in accelerating NLC India’s renewable energy growth, decarbonisation efforts, responsible mining, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
The event was attended by Jishnu Dev Varma, Governor of Telangana, as the Chief Guest, along with global experts and senior dignitaries. Motupalli dedicated the award to the NLC India workforce, reaffirming the company’s commitment to clean energy and sustainable development.
