MRPL Hosts Free Artificial Limb Camp as Part of CSR Activities

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) organised an artificial limb distribution camp in Mangaluru as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, benefiting 36 individuals. The camp, held at the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Hall, provided customised prosthetic limbs manufactured by FIT WELL. Beneficiaries were identified in coordination with the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens to ensure targeted outreach.

Senior officials, including Prashanth Baliga, participated in the distribution, highlighting the company’s focus on inclusive development and community welfare.

The assistive devices included below-knee and above-knee prosthetics, upper limb prostheses, and orthotic support systems, aimed at improving mobility and quality of life for beneficiaries.

MRPL reiterated its commitment to social responsibility, with such initiatives contributing to empowerment, self-reliance, and enhanced dignity for differently-abled individuals.
