MP Govt Takes Off with Heli-Tourism Plan to Boost Travel and Connectivity

In a bid to enhance tourism and connectivity, the Madhya Pradesh government has launched a helicopter service plan covering three strategic sectors: the historical and scenic sites including Indore and Ujjain; routes promoting heritage tourism and pilgrimage linking Bhopal with various regions; and areas targeting eco-tourism focusing on Kanha National Park and other locations.

This initiative, developed under a Public-Private Partnership model, positions Indore as a central aviation hub, aims to improve travel efficiency, enhance tourism, and stimulate economic growth in underserved areas, thereby integrating aviation into the state’s development strategy.
