Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Awards Major Infrastructure Contract to Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd in Big Road Push

In a national highway project given by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd, a construction engineering company, has emerged as the one and only L-1 bidder via its Joint Venture.

The Raipur–Jassakhera portion of National Highway 458 in Rajasthan, India, will be widened on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis, from Kilometre 0.000 to Kilometre 29.770.

The estimated time for completion of the contract is 30 months, and its total worth is 397 crores of rupees.

This is a central government highway project under MoRTH and includes:

● highway widening to two-lane configuration

● paved shoulders

● construction of multiple bridges

● ancillary road works such as drains and culverts

● EPC mode execution

The Company’s increasing capacity to compete in regulated infrastructure bids requires financial strength, engineering credentials, and prior execution track record; this order signifies a technically qualified selection in a Central Government National Highway EPC project.

To provide execution transparency and disciplined project monitoring, most national highway EPC projects use organised engineering supervision, standardised specifications, and milestone-based compensation.

An infrastructure company established in April 2000, Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited has been serving the Indian market since 1998 with engineering, procurement, and construction services for various infrastructure projects.
