At the 11th Aadi Shakti Prem Nath Khanna Samaroh, which took place at Patna Museum, Littera Public School continued its dedication to social responsibility and inclusive community development by distributing assistive aids to senior citizens. The event was organised in collaboration with Om Kreations and supported by ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India), Government of India. By supplying seniors with necessary assistance gadgets, the project aimed to enhance their mobility, independence, and quality of life generally.
Six elderly people benefited from the initiative by receiving various pieces of mobility aids, such as wheelchairs, walking sticks, and toilet chairs designed for people with disabilities. Om Kreations’ Director, Mrs. Rita Sinha, and Littera Public School Principal, Mrs. Mamta Mehrotra, were in charge of the distribution. At the occasion, the initiative’s importance was highlighted by the attendance of Mr. Ashok Kumar Sinha, Additional Director of the Bihar Museum, Mrs. Priya, and Mr. Ashutosh Mehrotra, Director of Littera Public School.
In their remarks, the dignitaries emphasised the significance of treating the elderly and others with mobility issues with respect and decency. A more welcoming, empathetic, and easily accessible society can only be achieved via the combined efforts of public agencies, nonprofits, and educational institutions, they said. As the show progressed, it became clear that working together may improve the lives of marginalised people and strengthen communities.
